I had already Blogged tonight, but this was too cute not to share! After the kids went to bed, my husband headed out to the grocery store to get supplies to make a big batch of his Chili for tomorrow night's church group. I texted him while he was at the store and my text said this: "Please bring home chocolate..like a fabulous looking chocolate dessert from the bakery." (I mentioned that it was a rough day.) Anyway, he got home and started making his Chili; I was content in bed watching Dancing with the Stars. I had honestly forgotten about my request when he walked into the room with a bag. He handed it to me and said, "I didn't see your text while I was at the grocery store, so I stopped at the gas station on the way home and picked up every kind of chocolate they had." I looked in the bag and squeeled with delight. I said, "You didn't have to do that" and he said, "I didn't want to disappoint you." God love him!!!

  1. Coming home exhausted and carving pumpkins is great, buying all the chocolate the had in the convenience store is wonderful, but sitting down and attaching a movie you wanted to see is heroic. Now I know why I think he is so special. Love you Mark.

  2. oh my! You lucky girl!!! I seriously would eat that whole bag ( :
